I began my singing career at the age of seventeen.  From my earliest years I have always had an overwhelming desire to sing and was usually found listening to and watching great singers such as Mario Lanza, Richard Tauber, Joan Sutherland and of course MARIA CALLAS!  The thrill of their voices is ever present in my heart and soul.

My first singing teacher was Diana Vernon from The Hove Academy of Music and it was with her that I studied the Bel Canto style (beautiful singing) technique.  I had a light lyric soprano voice which developed in depth and strength.  This allowed me to incorporate more dramatic works into my repertoire.  My further training was with Welsh National Opera's bass baritone, Noel Noble, internationally acclaimed Ian Adam, of West End Musical notoriety and most recently Cathy Pope.

I have enjoyed singing the roles of Violetta, Oscar, Louise, Madam Butterfly, Mimi and Musetta, Zerlina, Cherubino, Suzanna and The Countess and many other popuar classical and romantic roles.  It has been my privilige to sing in many great oratorios including Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem, Coronation Mass, Exsultate Jubilate, Vivaldi's Gloria .....

As an actress and singer roles have included Katarina Cavalieri in a production of Peter Shaeffer's Adamdeus, Miranda, a contemporary opera based on Shakespeare's Tempest, The Duchess and Irina Ratushinskaya in Global Review.

Television appearances have included singing the role of Madam Butterfly on Sky TV and Linda di Chamounix on ITV.

I have produced a number of CDs and plan to put all my recordings, in time to video.  Please visit my work page.
